Independence Hall is the birthplace of the State of Israel and of the the first Hebrew speaking city, Tel-Aviv. This house tells the story of the beginnings of the City of Tel-Aviv, Meir Dizengoff – the first Mayor of Tel-Aviv, and the famous ceremony which took place on May 14, 1948, when David Ben-Gurion declared the establishment of the State of Israel.
